Cuba, Siloam, and Kinterbish units responded to three calls on Saturday.  The day started early with Siloam and Cuba units responded to an MVA with minor injuries at the intersection of County Road 13 and US Highway 80 around 0500.  The next call came in just after 0930 for and MVA at the intersection of US 80 and US 11 in Cuba.  Two patients were transported from the scene with minor injuries.  Lastly, units responded to a control burn at an abandoned structure that got out of control at 302 3rd Ave in Cuba.  The call was transmitted at 1250 at the situation was quickly brought under control.  While Cuba, Siloam and Kinterbish units were operating at the structure fire the Whitfield Fire Department was dispatched to a medical call in their area.   Just another busy weekend in South Sumter.
